Bumper Configuration

Information about the bumper feature

The bumper feature is now available for use, allowing your launched token to be showcased on the front page of pump.fun. This is an effective marketing tool to increase the visibility of your project. To use it, simply head over to the new Telegram bot @ChipperBumpBot.

You can change all these settings to suit your needs. Most settings are configured to optimal defaults for the bumper to function effectively. You can reset your settings to default by clicking the "❌ Reset config" button.

Buy Amount

This indicates the amount of SOL you will buy and sell with your wallet. The default is set at 0.02 SOL, which is sufficient for pump.fun to register your transactions. For the bumper, one wallet is more than enough. Hence, why we are keeping it at one wallet.

Interval

This specifies the interval between each bump. The default is 2 seconds, which is adequate to keep your token on the front page for a while. Increasing this number is not recommended, however this can be done by clicking on this button. Set the interval in seconds into the type bar, and change it however you like to.

Cycles

We recommend no fewer than 5 cycles. While there is no maximum limit, we suggest capping it at around 70–90 cycles. This feature continues until all cycles are complete, hence our recommended cap. Our recommendation sits at around 20 bumps.

Auto-sell

By default, this feature is enabled. We strongly recommend keeping this feature enabled. This feature auto-sells the wallet after each buy. The sell will be an "extra" bump. When this option is not enabled, the wallet will not sell the tokens it bought.

Priority fee

We recommend setting this to "Medium" or above to ensure your transactions are processed. Priority fees are an fee which need to be added to your transactions to incentivize block producers (leaders) to include your transaction in the next block. The percentiles are as followed: - Low - 25th percentile - Medium - 50th percentile - High - 75th percentile - Very high - 95th percentile

Explanation percentiles

For the sake of this explanation, let's take the 95th percentile. The 95th percentile means that a transaction that falls at the 95th percentile is higher than 95% of all other similar transactions. In other words, it's in the top 5% of all transactions in terms of whatever measure is being used (such as transaction fee, amount, speed, etc.).

Here’s a breakdown:

  • When we talk about percentiles, we’re dividing the data into 100 equal parts.

  • The 95th percentile means that 95% of the data points (transactions, in this case) are below this value.

  • Therefore, only 5% of the data points are above this value.

So, if your transaction fee is at the 95th percentile, it means your fee is higher than 95% of all other similar transactions, placing it in the top 5% in terms of the fee amount. This often implies a high level of priority or urgency compared to other transactions.

Bump CA

The bump CA is the CA which will get bumped. To change the CA, click on the "Bump CA: None set" button. The bot will prompt you to enter the new CA.
